UIC offers a caregiver support group for family members taking care of loved ones. The Spanish support group meets on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 10 AM.

Operates a National Toll-Free Helpline that provides support and assistance to callers and connects them with resources in their area. AFA also offers free, confidential memoryscreenings at sites across the country.

Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP)

Assists with all types of questions related to Medicare, including: eligibility problems, prescription drug coverage under Medicare Part D, managed care, long-term care planning, health insurance and other health care issues.

Illinois Family Caregiver Support Program (FCSP)

FCSP services for family caregivers include: information, assistance, individual counseling, support groups and caregiver training, respite care, and supplemental services, such as transportation and home modifications.
